A Few Words From a Patient

One of my patients recently emailed me a few words of thanks, and I couldn’t help but share it with everyone. Take a look and see what she had to say below:

When I joined Body Logic a couple of years ago, I was experiencing hypothyroid symptoms that other doctors would not treat because my TSH levels were not abnormal enough and because they were using out of date reference ranges. I was tired, cold, sluggish, and had many other symptoms and I was miserable. I was also about 100 pounds overweight and constantly exhausted. When I went to BodyLogic, I found out that not only did I need my thyroid treated, but I was also very estrogen dominant and that issue caused many symptoms of its own. I also had adrenal fatigue. I had been on an antidepressant for 15 years that had caused me to gain weight and made it impossible to lose it. Dr. Magsino encouraged me to get off the antidepressant (I am now on another one that does not cause the weight problems). She also balanced my estrogen and progesterone and helped me with my cholesterol, adrenal, and thyroid issues. I have since lost 85 pounds and I’m still losing. I just fi t into a size 6 jeans, which I haven’t worn for 15 years. I feel better and have more energy than I did as a very young woman.

Thank you, Dr. Magsino, for being willing to treat my symptoms and listen to what my body needed.
